March 24, 2012: I have a friend with the last name Alderman, this was the Alderman’s Ford 5k. It seemed like a sign, only made sense to run this. so my friend and I ran the race together. The race was beautiful. A small 5k on a paved trail through the woods and over short wooden bridges. There weren’t many runners, but it’s their loss and my gain. I rocked this 5k just over 25 minutes (although I think it wasn’t quite 3 miles). None the less, I’ll take it with a great time.
